Public Health England (the Govt. dept responsible for improving our health) have issued a document to schools outlining scientific evidence that suggests a positive link between health and wellbeing and educational attainment.

Active-Kids

The evidence shows a positive relationship between physical activity
and the academic attainment of children in schools. That means that not only is playing tig, riding a bike, or going for a walk good for your kids’ health but it is also helping them achieve in the classroom.

Excellent news for those of us who like to spend our weekends playing outside!
